Determination of current and anticipated support which may include: Transition coordination, recommendations for living at home safely (Aging In Place), discharge planning/advocacy, connection with community resources, forecasting financial needs anticipating aging related changes.

Jennifer Harriss, founder of Age Advocate, has seen firsthand, through her public and private work in eldercare, just how challenging the aging process in today’s environment can be. From navigating the many options and resources available as well as the inherent bureaucracy in “the system,” she is committed to helping with the journey. NC Real Estate Broker for 20+ Years
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, (Kent State University)
Former NC Department of Health and Human Service certified Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman
A Matter of Balance coach
Adult Children of Aging Parents (ACAP) leadership team Guilford County
Alzheimer’s Association certified family support group facilitator
Volunteer with Senior resources of Guilford as a Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP counselor), Nutrition Advisory Council and Meals on Wheels
